Hello!
I’m Ayu and I’m Ethiopian illustrator / designer based in Seattle, WA. Many of my illustrations tend to be colorful works of art that reflect our everyday mundane lives through a rose-colored lens. I enjoy drawing characters navigating a world different from their own, thinking about how they’d react and getting that process out on paper. When I’m not drawing I can usually be found at home reading, following internet rabbit-holes to a mysterious end or outside staring directly at the sun.
